This year’s Halloween mask, despite being rushed, came out fairly decent. It’s very clear with a close-up look that there are a few artifacts that weren’t quite smoothed over. It’s a poor excuse, but my heart wasn’t really into it this year.

I’ve been focused on a few other projects, work, and personal fitness goals, so my energy was spent elsewhere. Given that the Bay Area is still in a panic and incredibly resistive to everyday human interaction, putting any effort into something that ultimately won’t get used just seems like a waste of time. I want the excitement to be there, but this year just didn’t do it for me. Oh well… Guess I’ll focus on eating tons of candy!
