Homemade Protein Bars

Protein Bars

Making your own protein bars can be more cost-effective, customizable, healthier, and more convenient than buying pre-made bars.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates (approximately 18)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup egg white protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • A few tablespoons of water

Instructions:

  1. Combine dates, cranberries, granola, chocolate chips, egg white protein powder, and almonds in a food processor.
  2. Pulse until the mixture becomes cohesive and reaches a dough-like consistency.
  3. Press the mixture into an 8x8 inch square pan lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  5. Cut into bars and serve.

Store the protein bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for an extended period.

Easy to make. This batch includes a special little something extra as well.
