The acting was absolutely fantastic. There was no instance where I didn’t believe the zombies weren’t undead. They all had the same consistent behaviors, energy, motivations, and mannerisms. The main actors were exceptional and had serious emotion-driven character traits and flaws. When a main character died, emotions were felt.

The mere thought of an American zombie movie makes me wanna hurl - with the exception of Dawn of the Dead. That movie is rad.
