If I knew this code was a thing, my life on the playground 25 years ago would have been entirely different.
A YouTube video popped up asking ‘who is this Justin Bailey from the famous Metroid NES code’ and it was touched on that the in game passwords are almost entirely generated by the game itself. Some incredibly smart person, that has an enviable amount of free time, created a site that will automatically generate passwords based on human readable words.

Turns out that my name will generate max missiles, bombs, screw attack, a ton of energy tanks, and level skip you to the second area. The only flaw is that rolling attack is not included. Oh well… Try it for yourself if you have an emulator or NES Classic handy.
