Now that I’m much more comfortable on a proper board, this penny sized version will attach to my backpack for work and travel.

This build was the same as the much larger version, but with the addition of dyed maple for the bottom layer. This one has a really neat green while another board awaiting hardware has a deep blue. The trucks and wheels were cannibalized from a cheap Penny clone from Amazon, but it rides surprisingly well.

After stopping by the local skate shop to finish the blue one, I’m going to pick up an electric motor. I hear they can get up to 25mph with a range of 10mi.

[edit] Built a second, blue Penny and gave away the green to a coworker. It’s so much fun to ride!
