They Cloned Tyrone was nothing short of amazing. Everything from the spot-on acting, the perfectly chosen cast, the environments, their clothes, the beautiful colors, the story & pacing, and the 70’s style camera work.

I honestly didn’t know what to think going into this one, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s too bad more films aren’t able to put a similar style and love into their art. This competes with The Killer for my favorite movie of 2023 (so far). Normally that would be a bad thing since everything last year was so pathetic, but let’s pretend the rest of that crap doesn’t exist.

My only gripe would be that fake digital film grain that made it seem like we’re getting some sorta eye disease. It was incredibly distracting when there were bright lights. Otherwise, this is near-perfect.
