Ratatouille

How can you not love Disney movies before 2016? They’re inventive, refreshing, and funny. Certainly something missing in today’s Disney.

We all know the story. Kid can’t cook because he has no talent, experience, or taste, yet still wants to be a chef for some reason. A rat with a love for food comes out of nowhere and beats up this kid’s frail body, like the rat is some sorta Italiano pimp. Together they grow, learn to love, and form a bond that only two inter-species animated characters could.

This story stands the test of time, with few others coming close. It’s a tale of intruige, murder, theft, lust, familial bonds, and greed. To this day I wonder how it didn’t receive an R rating.

The kids couldn’t get enough of it. Their eyes were glued to the screen the entire time. Classic entertainment.
