Beacon Every time my wife needs to get the kids' attention, she has two options: walk to the other side of the house or yell loud enough to be heard through numerous walls. Neither option is ideal. Kid's new dashboard & alert system So I built a thing. Since I don’t ever want the kids to have a phone or a smart watch, the solution would need to involve getting their attention and letting them know Mom needs something from them.

Weather Weather: Turn on So I built a webpage that tracks the weather. Its simplicity makes it beautiful. It knows what the weather is for the week and highlights tomorrow’s forecast with precipitation, UV, and temperature details for when the kids are dropped off and picked up from school. At the bottom of the page it recommends to our kids what they should wear so there’s no confusion or delays getting ready.
